Using Safari to install on iPad/iPhone:
The coolest way to install on an iPad/iPhone if you didn’t buy from the iBook Store, is to:

  1. Copy the url (link) in your email confirmation into the address bar of the Safari browser on your iPad/iPhone.
  2. After Safari downloads the file it will ask you if you want to open in the iBook app. Click that option, and it will then be available in your book Library.
